Making Junk Percussion

Making Junk percussion is the first course in the Junk Percussion series for years 5 and 6 students and demonstrates how to create musical instruments using everyday objects. Specifically, the course presents techniques for making a bass drum, a snare drum, toned bells and shakers.

Once students have created instruments they can be integrated into classroom musical activities such as the Junk Percussion Techniques or Word Phrases courses.
