Art Forms Drama

Drama is one of the greatest confidence-builders for children. By incorporating drama into your classroom, home or other learning environment, you offer children rich and stimulating opportunities to explore, create and imagine.

ARTS:LIVE’s drama courses and activities take children through the fundamentals of performance, including the basics of movement and dialogue, sourcing materials and unlocking meaning in texts, character development and technical staging. There are also advanced courses to teach devised theatre, process drama and the development of site-specific works.

There are also plenty of fun drama games that are designed to help children build confidence and play creatively. All the activities contain simple step-by-step instructions, so you don’t need to be an expert to help guide children through them!
