Learning Environments Early Learning

ARTS:LIVE’s early learning courses use songs, movement, reading and games to engage young children in early literacy and learning.

They have been created to support teaching and learning in early years programs, encouraging children to increase their vocabularies, to develop the confidence to join in group activities, and to learn to enjoy books, songs and movement.

For parents, ARTS:LIVE’s at home activities for children from 0-5 years old are great for introducing your children to music and creativity, and all the benefits of a well-rounded, creative education. These resources can be used to develop deeper bonds between parents and their children to create a positive pathway from early learning to school readiness.

    Sing, Scat and Scoo Be Doo introduces you to the joys of active music-making through singing, speaking, moving, dancing, playing and creating. You will be introduced to four songs that provide opportunities to be expressive through vocal improvisation (scatting) and playing along with instruments.
