Techno

Techno is the fifth course in the Junk Percussion series for years 5 and 6 students and encourages students to make a techno beat with multiple instrumental parts as a whole group ensemble.

The course provides step by step tutorials and musical scores for each instrument part and builds on the fundamental techniques and musical notation understandings covered in the previous Junk Percussion courses. Through the lesson series students can consolidate their understanding of tempo and rhythm and perform their song to an audience.

This course has been designed around instruments created in the Making Junk Percussion course including the bass drums, snare drums, shakers and bells. Standard classroom instruments can also be used.
