Explore fire as a symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Visual Storytelling
Visual storytelling is one of the oldest forms of storytelling, enlisting a range of mediums including song, dance, theatre, mime, craft, sign language and visual arts. Explore a range of ways to bring your story to life with the use of visual mediums such as picture storybooks.

Together We Sing on Noongar Boodja 5-6
Explore the power of music and song with First Nations artists Charley Caruso, Della Rae Morrison and Merinda Hansen, who share what it means to sing in First Nations languages and how music connects communities. Through six curriculum-aligned lessons, students play collaborative music games, record sounds from their environment and compose and perform their own seasonal poems inspired by the Noongar six seasons. Along the way, they build music skills and deepen their understanding of First Nations culture and Country.
