    Combine visual and performing art by using music to inspire what you draw and paint. Listen to a music track and paint how and what you are feeling or what images it evokes. Explore your creativity, sharpen your listening skills and understand the links between feelings, ideas and artwork.

    This is the third course in the Ukulele series. Put your ukulele skills to the work and make your ukulele sing. It includes more chords, strumming patterns and a range of songs to learn.

    We’ve all played with our food, but when was the last time you actually played your food? Sustainable Songs is a fun and imaginative music lesson series that encourages children to make instruments from fruit and vegetables!

    Years 1-6
    Turn a book into a performance and use Drama to support comprehension. This resource is based on the book Go Home, Cheeky Animals! but you can substitute with any narrative text you prefer.

    Years 7-10, Secondary
    Explore the language and musical conventions of rap, and create your own rap. Discover the historical, social and political context and influences of hip hop culture and rap music. Identify the musical and poetic elements used in a range of rap pieces, and undertake the process of developing and performing your own rap at an ‘open mic’.

    Sing, Scat and Scoo Be Doo

    0-5 Year Olds, Years 1-4
    Sing, Scat and Scoo Be Doo introduces you to the joys of active music-making through singing, speaking, moving, dancing, playing and creating. You will be introduced to four songs that provide opportunities to be expressive through vocal improvisation (scatting) and playing along with instruments.

    Musical Fun with Fuzzy

    0-5 Year Olds, Years 1-2
    Musical Fun With Fuzzy introduces you to the joys of active music-making through singing, speaking, moving, dancing, playing and creating. You will make your own Fuzzy the Clown pop-up puppet and learn the basic elements of music.

    Compose Some More

    Years 4-10, Secondary
    Get serious about composition by taking your understanding of theory one step further. Write your way into rock and roll history! This course builds on the skills learnt in the Compose Yourself course.
